See him working at his desk at the Swiss Patent Office in 1905, yet unknown, preparing to write his five world-changing papers -- including the theory of special relativity -- all in rhyme! Says violinist Jimmy Lin, Artistic Director of SummerFest La Jolla, which commissioned and premiered Oceanophony, "Kate Light's words in Oceanophony, like her other works, are delightful, whimsical, informative and funny. The words lent themselves so easily to music that they seem like beautiful musical notes--each one a droplet of sparkle."
